Summer/Vacation Program
For School-aged Children

During the summer months, Diana runs a small “camp” program geared towards school age children. There is more focus on learning through fun experiments and projects, while still allowing kids to have the fun, carefree experience of summer.
Each morning will include a planned activity such as art, crafts, science, nature, drama, and much more. Some examples from previous years are the fossil dig (a favorite), creating cave paintings, painting in the style of a famous artist, and recreating the life of Ancient Egypt.
After lunch, the children are allowed to choose what they would like to play. Usually it will be outside, and can be anything from a nature walk to a game of baseball, or just playing on the playscape. On gloomy, rainy days, we might use this time to read books, work on puzzles, or watch a movie.
You may register your child for a half-day, a full day, or a full week. The program is designed to be flexible. Register soon, as spots are limited and fill up quickly.
The program runs from 9:00 – 3:00 each day. If you prefer earlier drop off or later pick-up, it will not be a problem. Please look at the “Day Care” section of the site for information on that.
